Mobile service provider Vodafone Essar today announced the launch of a new prepaid card called ‘SAMBHAV’. This card has been specially designed for customers with hearing and speech disability. This card enables customers to use their mobile phones primarily for sending SMS’s.
This scheme offers usage of 500 SMS’s for a cost of Rs. 151 and validity of a month. So if you calculate the cost per SMS it comes to around 30 paise which is quite low for a prepaid scheme. Here it can be also seen that the company is trying to be socially responsible by bringing out a scheme specially for the 1.2 million deaf and dumb people of India.
Being morally responsible is a good thing but if we see the other way, many customers who texts a lot can gain from this irrespective of their disability.

This offer can be customised as per requirement.
It would be better to always look at the other details other than just voicing yourself without the full knowledge of the product.
Half knowledge is quite lethal than no knowledge at all.
