Now that u have seen our earlier posts, here’s another new category where in we review similar plans of different operators. The first plan under our scanner is the Rs. 199 post paid plan. To review the same we have an easy to understand and compare chart of the plan offered by the service providers. If your monthly usage is around 150 to 200 minutes then the 199 plan is the most suitable for you under any service provider. You can expect your bill to be anywhere between 300 and 400 (including tax) depending upon your usage. So here’s a detailed overview of these plans, hope it helps you to choose the best one. (We did not include BPL because it does not have a 199 Plan.)

We say
Amongst the GSM service providers, MTNL’s Dolphin offers the best deal and will be most suitable if one is looking to reduce his cost, but if one can shell out some extra bucks for better service, brand and connectivity we would suggest ignoring Dolphin. Hutch charges less for same network calls whereas it’s nearest competitor in the GSM war, Airtel charges an equal fare of for all local calls. So, the choice depends on the usage. If we consider the CDMA scenario the case still stands the same. If and only if local usage to Tata phones is more, one should consider the Tata Indicom package otherwise Reliance is a clear winner in terms of connectivity and service quality and after all it is the leader in the CDMA market.
