I am not lying! The plans which I am going to unveil in a short while are literally heavy duty. In terms of price and talktime. The first plan known as the Airtel Community Plan has a monthly rental of Rs. 995. CLIP charges are waived off and you get 4000 minutes of Airtel-to-Airtel local calls free. Other than that there is an extra 1000 minutes free to A2A STD calls. All the calls and SMS are charged at Re. 1.
The good news is that both new users and existing users can enroll under this plan. But we wouldn’t recommend such an expensive plan if your most of the calls are not on Airtel numbers.
Airtel National Calling Plan
Next is Airtel’s National Calling plan wherein the monthly rent charged is a whopping 2499 bucks. But wait, before you skip reading this, have a look at the free talktime it offers:
4000 minutes local calls
2000 minutes STD calls
5000 SMS local and national
500 Minutes of Outgoing and Incoming free on Roaming networks.
Its truly amazing. That’s almost Rs. 3500 worth of free talk time and messages (if we reckon everything at 30 paise flat). This one’s strictly recommended for those who feel mobiles are an inseparable part of their lives.
