MTNL has made an attempt to revamp the look and the message of its ads in Mumbai. The ads, which previously used to contain an image with simple and straight details of the plans, have now taken a new look to themselves. The new ads would be trying to strike a chord among Mumbai residents by calling MTNL as Mumbai ka khaas mobile, which in simple words is Mumbai’s special mobile.
The ads are trying to promote Trump connections as a must have by any Mumbai resident. For example one ad has the following line: Having a mobile in Mumbai is a normal thing, but having Mumbai’s mobile is a special thing.
The revamp is a stepping stone towards better ads for MTNL and lets hope we see more of the same ahead. Let’s not forget to say that it was a much needed change.
