BPL Mobile has launched three rental free plans which they’ve branded as ‘EEZEE Postpaid’. As per the plan details, subscribers will have to pay a one time yearly charge and can enjoy lower calling and SMS rates without paying any extra fixed monthly charge. The different EEZEE plans and their details are:
EEZEE 999
- One time price – Rs 999
- All Local calls and All SMS – 50 paise
- All STD calls – Re 1/min
EEZEE 777
- One time price – Rs 777
- All Local calls and All SMS – 60 paise
- All STD calls – Rs 1.20/min
EEZEE 444
- One time price – Rs 999
- All Local calls and All SMS – 80 paise
- All STD calls – Rs 1.20/min
What is the minimum monthly commitment under each plan?
EEZEE 999
Under this plan the minimum monthly bill would approximately sum upto Rs 170 + taxes
(999/12 = Rs 85; CLIP = 50; minimum call usage = 35)
EEZEE 777
Under this plan the minimum monthly bill would approximately sum upto Rs 150 + taxes
(777/12 = Rs 65; CLIP = 50; minimum call usage = 35)
EEZEE 444
Under this plan the minimum monthly bill would approximately sum upto Rs 122 + taxes
(444/12 = Rs 37; CLIP = 50; minimum call usage = 35)

All the three EEZEE postpaid sound decent enough and can definitely attract some mobile users. One thing to note over here would be, depending upon your usage choose you best EEZEE plan. If your mobile usage is very high, go for the 999 plan; if it is mediocre, choose the 777 plan and if you rarely use your cell phone, the 444 plan is best for you.
Whilst BPL’s plans really seem lucrative, its network leaves a lot to be desired ! With MNP coming in, I’m sure it’d have to buckle up big time….
