BPL Mobile has introduced a way for its prepaid customers to efficiently use their unused talktime balance. They have introduced Mini Validity wherein a subscriber with unused talktime and no validity can use that talktime to increase the validity by paying just Rs.3/day. Users can activate it by calling on 51515 or SMS ‘mini’ to the same number. After activating this, the validity of the number gets active (it means that it can make outgoing calls) and the charge for it gets deducted from the account balance.

It is clearly evident that BPL Mobile wants to step back into the arena and give other cellular operators a run for its money. It can prove a boon for those who recharge their balance yearly. As the percentage of talktime with the yearly denomination is good, many are left with unused talktime balance which has to be carried forward. With Mini Validity they can now use that accumulated balance.
